This morning I filled my humidity tray...in the dark. When I got home from class I found that my Cattleya seedling had been wicking the water up all day.
I guess that teaches me to fill the tray in the dark! One of the roots on the surface looked mushy and the newest shoot took on a yellowish cast. I put it directly in front of a fan to dry it out! Do you think it will be okay? Did I do what I should have by placing it in front of a fan? Any other suggestions?
It is just a little guy, but he was doing SO well. I would feel like an idiot if that was the way I killed it.
