What's the best way to get rid of scale

Well, spraying once does not remove scales. and depending on how serious the infestation is, it is a long fight.

It is a good idea to get the bugs out (if it really get them all which I doubt) in the long run, but I wouldn't ruin flowers just to get bugs at the moment. plus, scales usually are not found on the flowers and if you do find them there, then hand pick them. no need to spray flowers.

Also, drenching or using alcohol on roots are VERY BAD. Don't even think about it.

I gave them there first treatment on Friday the bottle said to spray them about every 7 to 10 days, how many treatments do you think they will need?

At least two treatments but since I am paranoid I missed something, I go with three treatments.

Hope your treatments work, my imidacloprid ones seem to be helping. That reminds me, I best re-dose soon...
