Phal. Mini Mark 'Holm' with no virus?
Hi all, I just got a bunch of my plants tested for viruses and unfortunately some that I really like came out positive. One of them is my Mini Mark 'Holm' which came out positive for ORSV
Does anyone have a Mini Mark that they have gotten tested and is free of virus? If so, could you please let me know where you got it?
Thanks!

My guess is that since you are looking for a phal its going to be very hard to find one without a virus.
I feel your pain I have not had my orchids tested my guess is that all the ones I have right now have some viruses. This thread reminds me that I need to get them tested.

Thanks Hannah, yeah I know how it goes with Phals and I really wasn't that surprised at all of the other ones that came up positive but for this one in particular I wasn't expecting it.

Adriana, I'm just curious: did any of your phals test negative?

Haha yes, a lot of them did, thank goodness, otherwise I'd be going out of my mind.

Hmmm, I'm intrigued considering a certain ne'er do well shrinking Mini Mark I have languishing in my collection for the past couple years. Fortunately, I have another more recently acquired MM that is doing fine so far and bloomed nicely on 2 spikes shortly after I got it a few months ago. The latter was a replacement for a third one in bloom, which I had nurtured back from poor health and which was ultimately offed by a careless (drunk) household member knocking over one of my orchid tables.
Is it common knowledge, that I wasn't aware of, that Mini Marks are virused and if so which virus(es) (if any besides ORSV, cited by the original poster) and which cultivar(s)?
Maybe I'll send a piece of leaf in for tests.

Uh Oh.... this thread has me worried!!
I have a Phal. Mini Mark that I got back in July. It bloomed beautifully, put out a couple new leaves and then got these weird yellowish splotches which have progressed to pitted areas in the last month...
Included some pics... any ideas??
