Question How Long to Quarantine

I received two plants about a month ago from the same grower shipped together in the same box. The Beallara had a mild scale infestation, the Sederia japonica did not show any evidence of scale. I put them in quarantine in two different rooms. Both have been repotted. The Beallara is being treated with alcohol swabbing and a systemic pesticide. The Sederia is still not showing any signs of having any kind of pest or disease problem. Do you think it's safe to move it in with the other chids? I'm sure it would like to be warmer, have more light and humidity. TIA

Just my opinion, I would think it's safe to move the Sederia. If you treat the Beallara with Neem oil (drench everything and the medium as well) twice - one week apart, I think your scale issue will be over for now. It did it for my Bllra. BTW, I had scale on only two genera, the Bllra and Encyclia tampensis (the source plant). It never spread to anything else even though closely located. Maybe just my luck, but I think certain species are more subject to scale than others.
