Yes, that is certainly a very helpful link, I've used this PDF countless times over the past year or two ... There is a second "part" (if you will..) to it, about pests & pesticides... Just figured I'd post it as an addition, so ppl can have both
http://www.staugorchidsociety.org/PD...rchidPests.pdf

It's from the St. Augustine Orchid Society website: St. Augustine Orchid Society - North Florida Orchid Growing (good info even if u don't live in Florida!) and on the left side column, titled "Pests & Diseases" there is great info & pics of disease/pest damage & how u got it/how to get rid of it... etc. There's even great articles by Sue Bottom (who is pretty well-known in the Orchid world), and others, that r helpful... If y'all explore the site a little I haven't found any website that has better info (thats all in one place) than what this site has.

I have collected a few cattleays now and almost all of them have some kind of "mytery" dark marks of various shapes and sizes on the leaves and some on pb.

None of them are spreading but driving me crazy as I have no idea what they are.

Mechanical damage? Most of the Hawaiian growers grow outside and they seem to take a bit of a beating
