Default Cold damage?

I have a couple of Phals that are showing some odd patterns on leaves, and I am wondering if it is from cold damage. Both of these plants were in a bay window during a cold snap several months ago. We keep our house pretty cool at night (62 degrees), but I am assuming that it got much colder than that next to the window.
The first pic almost looks like mite damage, but I looked at it under magnification and saw nothing. It does appear to be on all of the leaves of both plants, with the bottom leaves being just slightly more yellow.
For those of you with more experience, do you thing it may be cold damage, or possibly a virus of some sort?

How cold was it outside? I have Phals in front of uninsulated (and drafty) windows. Even on the coldest nights here (slightly below freezing, for short periods) they didn't suffer any damage. House temp lower 50s over night.

How long after the cold did this appear?

The second pic - the damage at the left edge - looks like it could be burn, or maybe from water on leaf during cold.

It looks like spider mites to me. I zoomed in on the leaves and increased the zoom size to 400. It looks as though something is chewing at the leaves, many spots are chlorotic....from mites. I've had phals like this and treated it successfully with Bayer 3 in 1. Make sure you treat outside, I use mask and gloves as well. Keep us posted.

Sonja-the cold weather we had was in the teens and twenty's and lasted several weeks. We don't usually have cold spells that last that long here. Not sure exactly how long after the cold that I noticed the damage, maybe a week or so?
I thought it looked like mite damage as well, but I have never seen them on any of my orchids. Aren't you able to see mites under magnification?
I have looked over both plants very well and don't see any sign of them. What would tell tale signs be? I did have a problem with brown scale a while back though.
