Phal with Fungus/Virus on underside of leaf

I have black spots growing from the underneath of a leaf working it's way through. I bought this Phal after it was done blooming. I did not see any damage when I got it. My orchids are kept in a 30 gal open tank, with uva/uvb lighting. I mist around 5 each morning when I turn on the lights.

Since I am new how would I post a photo of the spots?

That does look like fungus.

I'm really not experienced enough to give advice, so you should wait for somebody else to give an opinion.

My guess is that you should probably cut out the black spots and treat all of your plants with Physan 20 or another anti-fungal (because they're all close together.) My other guess is that your set-up could use some more air-flow. Maybe a small fan?

I found another leaf with one small spot on it. I guess it is time to cut the leaves. Hoping I can save the plant it self.

Thank you Pax Tea, I checked out your link and I think it is Acidovorax. I did a look up and check out some photos and that is sure what it looks like.
I removed both leaves totally. Checked the other 3 closely and did not see anything more so hopefully I caught it before it does any more damage.

the yellowish color around the black spots is fungi....you need to cut the affected areas but save the leaves if you can....spray the whole plant with original listerine use some to sterilize scissors for cutting and dab the wound with cinnamon paste(water and cinnamon powder)

it started with mechanical damage on the leaf then the fungi set in= the yellowing circle on the leaf means it is fighting the fungi....invest on physan20 and sterilize areas where fungi or bacteria might thrive

I'd say either acidovorax so a bacterial rot, or edema.

Does spread fast or not ?

If it's edema, nothing can be done but once the blisters are out, it'll stop. Meanwhile keep it warm.

Acidovorax likes to spread thru water splashing. You can try to dessicate the blisters with cinnamon (no cinnamon on roots!)
