I bought these in bloom in January. They were my first paphs. The larger one had one of the brown marks on a leaf. Now there are two near each other.

The smaller one has had yellowing leaves. I put oyster shell on top of the potting media. It looks worse now. It also has small brown marks on the leaves too. The first five pictures are of this one.

The larger one has lots of new growth, but it has the extra brown mark and small brown ones too.

What do you think is wrong with it?

Thank you for looking and your help.

Here are more pictures of the larger one.

There are also two pictures from when I first purchased them in January. The darker bloom is the larger plant.

spray it with hydrogen peroxide alternated with Listerine(original) then cut the tip of the damaged leaf and dab the cut area with cinnamon paste(use water to make paste from cinnamon powder)use a cutter for the round dots on the other leaves....
it might be a fungi/ bacterial infestation
you may also try to change the media mix(looks like there is fungus or mold on the mix)
invest on a small electric humidifier with oscillating fan....
keep your plant away from the cold and damp

Thanks Bud! The white may be from the oyster shell chips, but I am going to repot them anyway to make sure.

I can see the oyster shell chips which is a contrast from the dark mix with the powdery coat of mold or fungus on picture 5 of 10
you can also cut the old bloom spikes to trigger the plant to prepare for new spikes

Are you maybe over-fertilizing? If the white powdery residue is not mold, perhaps it is fertilizer salts? If so, change the medium (do it anyways, whether the white stuff is mold or fertilizer) and rinse the roots really well in pure water. They're all probably overdue for a repotting.

It is possible, but I only do every other watering. I use K-lite.

I will use less and see. I am going to repot them tomorrow. Thank you for looking and the tips

K-lite at what ppm? With the extra calcium and magnesium, you could get precipitation even at moderate dosage. Does your bark dry out completely between waterings?
