I have had this plant for about two months now, it was downstairs (while in flower) which can get cool early in the morning - does the plant look like this due to cold damage or something else ? water stress ? (as in too much?)
It looks very dehydrated - I don't know if that's from too little, or too much water - tho some of the roots look dried up, rather than rotted, so maybe it's from too little water
well I dont know whats wrong with it but I do think it is dehydrated. I dont know what you should do but if I were you I would cut all the bad roots off and repot it.
I agree that it looks dehydrated. Exactly how cold is it getting? Also, did you cut any roots prior to putting in that pot, because in my mind there doesn't appear to be many healthy roots in relation to the size and number of leaves.
When you repot it make sure that it is in the smallest pot that will accommodate the roots; then monitor it to maintain moistness (not dampness, not dryness). How often you water it will depend on your potting medium and your environment. I see 1 active root tip, so it should recover, but it may take a little while. You can also try misting the undersides of the leaves to help it hydrate.
There are no easy answers which is the challenge, of course.
