A potential tidbit of advice for anyone trying to do the dry ice treatment:

If you are concerned about the temperature falling the in container with the plant in it, you can always start the "fogging" process in another container (I would think a tall, skinny type would be best due to CO2 being heavier than air so it will sink and have less risk of losing it) and then "pour" the fog into the container with the plant and cap it.

Also, if you are starting with hot or warm water, it will cause the dry ice to melt faster and cause the fog to form faster with no appreciable difference in performance other than how long you have to wait for you to get enough fog....
