Default Rotting Degamoara; opinions on rhizome, please!

Degamoara Winter Wonderland: oldest pbulb rotted, next oldest ones starting to rot, seems to be advancing up the rhizome. I went to cut off all growth with any rot, but after doing so, am concerned about the appearance of the rhizome where I cut it (as close to the seemingly good pbulb as I could) - the darkened perimeter looks concerning to me. Mostly I am looking for opinions if this is worth potting, or not. Also including photos of the obviously rotting part, and the two small pieces left, but those are showing the darkened perimeter on the rhizome.

Thanks for your help!
