When I go back to Boca Raton for Thanksgiving I intend to go back to Home Depot to look for the Bayer & Ortho product lines.
Methylated spirits work too if you don't have many orchids. And you can just wipe down the leaves with it using a small paint brush.
The recommendations that I have seen say to use only 70% isopropyl alcohol.
Methylated spirits is a term not used in the US but I believe that this means denatured ethyl alcohol. If so then using methylated spirits is counter to the recommendations that I have seen.

Interesting....Well this is what I am told from One of the largest orchid nurseries in Thailand.... Idk to be honest.
