Default Is my phalaenopsis's leaf infected at the scratch and should i worry about it?

I am sort of new at this so please help, I got a phalaenopsis a few months ago, when I got it, its leaf already had the scratch on it. The scratch had been a tan/brown color but it recently turned white with a brown/black middle. Being new at this, I don't know if the scratch is infected or what is wrong with it.

I have pictures of the scratch but my computer wont let me attach them. if you want to see it I can email them to you.

if the infection is spreading, you can always cut off the damaged area and dab the open wound with cinnamon paste(water and cinnamon powder mixed to form a paste)

Usually when someone can't post pics it is because they are too big. Try sizing your pics smaller. If it isn't spreading I wouldn't worry about it. Usually when an orchid gets scratched they heal themselves. Post pics though so we can see it before you cut anything. I wouldn't want you to cut off a leaf if it doesn't need to be cut. Here is a link to tips on posting pics. Good luck!http://www.orchidboard.com/community...ng-photos.html

If the scratch is the same size, and brown/black areas aren't spreading, it may be fine. Pix definitely help. Let us know if you need more help to post pix.
