New leaves on Black Bat orchid turning black on edges

Hi one and all! I believe that there might be a reason for some optimism here. I moved the "bat" to a location where there is less light and took the advice of watching how I watered it. I have a new leaf appearing and 'so far - so good'. I will take pictures and post as soon as it gets a little further!!!!!!!!
We will be cautious but hopeful!

I am so glad to hear that. Did you ever find out what the scientific name is? I've seen them online for quite a while and thought they were really cool!

I know that it's not an orchid but really think it's quite a fascinating plant. LOL I love the unusual!
