Macroclinium manabina losing leaves

I purchased this orchid at a show about three months ago. There's quite a bit of new growth but the leaves at either end are yellowing and look as though they will eventually die. These leaves didn't change color suddenly; in fact it's been going on for about 6 weeks. My concern is that if there is a disease, it will spread to the new growth.

Does anyone know whether this is indeed a problem or whether this is normal behavior for this orchid.

It looks like the moss is covering the base of the leaves. I would pull back the moss to let the leaves breath. You may still lose the bottom leaves though. Also treat it with fungicide. Good luck!
