I am so fed up with fungus gnats. I was looking at my newest acquisition this morning - a Lycaste skinneri- and to my absolute horror I saw not only one fungus gnat but two stuck together in the process of mating!! I was so disgusted, luckily I managed to kill them as they couldn't detatch and fly away in time I have now ordered from a carnivorous plant store some butterwort. I hope it works.

I've killed quite a few that were in the middle of mating. At least they both died together

I had to laugh at that as I have just squashed one in my hand whilst reading this. Yes I like to get them when they are trying to promote life only for their's to end prematurely instead.
