two sick plants

hello, i've been noticing this two problems for a few days now.

this is newest, it's only a couple days old and it's grown very fast. it's a cattleya, and the problem showed up after the reppoting, in the last pseudobulb that flowered



and this is a stanhopea with some spots that i've been seeing since i buy it almost a month ago, and doesn't seem to respond to fungicide. the part that worries me is that sometimes the spots exude a yellowish liquid

Could be a bacterial infection? You might find this useful:

Uh oh, bacterias at work, it looks a lot like acidovorax, especially the PB.

If so, it's not that dangerous for Cattleyas, for other plants it's different.

It may be brown rot, it's still bacterias, just another one.

Anyway:
- isolate plants
- Remove infected parts (you can treat the cuts with cinnamon powder, it'll keep insects, fungus and bacterias away, but don't put some on roots!)
- treat the plants and their former neighbours with a fungicide, systemic and external. repeat the treatment (follow the maker's instructions)
- if possible, have lower temperature and hygrometry, both bacterias thrive in hot/wet conditions.
- Disinfect the growing area with 10% bleach.

thanks, another question.
i have a sulfur based fungicide, that is sell for agricultural uses in mayor, productive, fruit plantations.
is it good? because i haven't found anything different and it doesn't seem to be working
