Default Blister on leaf

I have what appears to be a blister on my encyclia cordigera any one seen this sort of thing before. Should I be concerned. There is new growth on the plant. some of the other leaves shave started yellowing on the ends and working their way to brown. May just be natural leaf die back I am not sure. I have owned the plant for less than 1 year. Any thoughts?Blister on leaf-imageuploadedbytapatalk1336248182-822129-jpg

I don't know but is it fluid filled? Can't really tell from the photo.

I think so. It's firm I didn't squeeze it too hard so I can't tell exactly. It's definitely not hollow.

Maybe someone else will have some experience with a similar issue. But I would put something on it if you have something such as Physan, brown Listerine, hydrogen peroxide or wipe it with alcohol. Something to try and disinfect it. If it is the only leaf like that and the plant has enough others, I would consider cutting it off also. Be sure to use sterilized tools and to do so after cutting also.

I believe this is a form of oedema.I seen this on my catts. I think its caused from to much moisture and not enough light. It won't go away, its forever on the leaf. Just improve this plant conditions of you're orchid so the other leaves don't get it aswell.

Its not a big deal, it'll dry up and turn white as time goes on.

Happy growing
