On a side note, a lot of the roots were no longer good so I did expect leaf drop to compensate until new roots developed, but I was not expecting to see the zig zag lines. That was what got me wondering if something else was going on.

I hope it turns out okay. I hate worrying about viruses! Especially since its so hard to know if it has it or not. I hope someday there is easier access to test strips like in garden centers or something. It would make things a lot easier!

It came back, but only on old leaves. Assuming at this point the only thing left to do is dumpster it. Please tell me your thoughts to comfort me in my decision.

So NLM, I'm guessing you suspect fungus or rot issue rather than a virus, based upon your suggested chemicals?

Hi Paul. I showed the picture to the people that I buy from and they told it looks like a fungus, clean a pot and I use water with bleach, new potting clean the roots and use what I told you.

NLM, thank you!! I need friends like that I can call, lol... So, I'm assuming Physan 20 would not work in this scenario given the suggestion of adding the systemic. I have ordered both and will clean/spray it down once a week for three weeks and see if it makes a difference. If it doesn't, then I'm assuming it may just be a virus if the "big guns" don't fix it.
