Help I have mealy bugs!

I have never had these before what do I do? They are all over the blooms!!! I am swabbing them off with alcohol. Is this going to damage the blooms is there a better way?

I use two applications of Bayer Advanced one week apart, which seems to get the job done.

Don't forget to isolate the infected plant! If you haven't already isolated it, treat any plants that were in the infected plant's vicinity. Mealies are nasty critters, good luck!

I feel your pain.
You can buy alcohol swabs of the sort that diabetics use - about 3 cm square - and fold them and tuck them in to crevices around the base. That way you don't have to pour the alcohol in. I also use a pyrethrin based spray after the alcohol.
Last but not least, inspect and isolate.
