cymbidium mosaic virus testing? Male
Default cymbidium mosaic virus testing?

I have a Brassidium hybrid that may have virus, since it has some leaf spotting and streaking on the leaves, particularly the oldest ones. I came to this conclusion after seeing some online pictures that look very much like what it has. However, I also know that Brassidium can develop leaf spotting in very bright light..and since I really like this orchid, I don't wanna toss it unless I know for certain. So, I was just wondering how does the process of testing work, and are there are any places that do it for a low cost?

Thanks.

At $7.50 each you test for two of the most common orchid viruses. You also get the results in five minutes or less. Complete instructions included.

I was going to suggest critter creek as well.
The advantage of keeping some strips at home is that you always have some on hand to quickly test.

But the advantage of sending samples to a lab is that a proper ELISA test is much more sensitive than the strips, so there's very little chance of false positives/negatives.
