Default White Furry insect

Ok, so this morning after the last bud opened on my new guy, I noticed it was a little fuzzy. I was pretty confused so I went to pull it off and it came right off. Then, I noticed it had legs. It was maybe an 1/8" of long, white and fuzzy.

Of course I went here but didnt find out anything about it but did find some info on the net about it being Boisduval scale. Yet, I cant find anymore of it on any plant and specifically on this one there is nothing.

Am Im about to start a war against this bug?

EDIT:

NVM, confirmed it as a mealy. Crap.

Hi Josh, It sounds like a mealy bug to me. Look that up here. You will find that most people have had trouble with them at one time or another. If there is only a few you can usually get rid of them with a little rubbing alchohol on a q tip.Keep an eye on the plant tho as once they get going they can be a real problem. Look at ALL your plants carefully, under leaves and in all the nooks and crannys. They can hide really well......Good luck....Jean

Yea, I already took care of it. I had just repotted this specific one about 4 days ago so hopefully that took care of any eggs.

I cant see any egg clusters on any of the plants and this one has actually been away from the others as its the only one with blooms so I was showing it off. lol

Well as you've determined, its a mealie. If it is only the one plant and only the one bug, then you're in luck that you caught it so soon.

Kill the mealie and any others you can see. You can then spray the plant down with straight isopropyl alcohol to kill any minute crawlers you may have missed.
