My poor baby!
Unhappy My poor baby!

I'm so sad. Around 6 months ago my boyfriend bought me my first Phal and I loved it. I researched (on this site) how to properly take care of it and it was doing wonderfully. That is, until my boyfriend knocked it over and broke the spike completely off. I was upset, but I was determined to put the time into get it to re-spike. About a month a go I got a new spike (it's now 8 inches) and it actually sprouted something else off of the side of the stem (another spike?). Unfortunately, we just moved across the country and one by one, the leaves on my phal started falling off. I wasn't overwatering, but I think the humidity/elevations/temperature changes etc, caused it to have a bad reaction. I am devastated, because it was so close to re-blooming, finally! Is there anything I can do to save my poor little baby??? Please help!

hmmm ... have you checked the roots? Is there any foliage left? Are you able to post photos?

also put your present growing zone, or your location ...your plant must have been happy with your former growing zone that moving across the country must have affected it....it can also help if you provide us where you put the plant; east side window?

It's hard to say, but I wouldn't think a move would affect it that way unless it was exposed to cold or hot weather. Check the roots and post pics of the overall plant and the roots. Also, what is the potting medium being used? Have you ever reported it?
