Will Thuricide kill my orchids?
Default Will Thuricide kill my orchids?
I have Live Oaks that are infested with Oakmoth Larvae and have Cattleyas, Dendrobiums and Staghorns living in and on them. Will it be O.K. if they get a little Thuricide sprayed on them?

Thuricide is a Bt insecticide (Bacillus thuringiensis) and it poses absolutely no threat to plants. Bt is a bacteria (or protein extract of it) which is extremely toxic to caterpillars when ingested, but safe for everything else. So perfectly safe for the orchids

Camille has it right, no more harmful than the water that makes up most of the spray.
