spots on my newly saved cattleya

So i found a cattleya orchid in my garden that was laying in a hot sun for a very long time. When i found it, it was blooming. The pot was toppled to the side and it was growing sideways. After it finished blooming, I told myself that I was going to save it by repotting and adopting it to my collection. However, I'm a little concern about some black markings that it has on its leaves. Can someone help me? I don't want it to spread to my one other healthy cattleya (it seems to me that cattleyas love sunlight and they're my only orchids that didn't get sunburn when i moved my orchids outdoors). I live in Hawaii. I just need to know if these spots are contagious and or if i could cut the pseudobulbs? Just any advice would help! Thanks!

Those spots are not disease.

They may be sun burn or damage from being on the soil or insects, but whatever it is it will not spread and not a problem.

That said, any questionable plant should be kept separate from other plants until you are convinced it is safe. Quarantining a healthy plant will not hurt it, but placing a sick plant in with healthy ones is dangerous.
