Looks like it could be a mite.

Hi there Mervin,

Yep, I with Kelo -- looks like mite damage.
I like to use isopropy alcohol 70% with 50 mix of distilled water. You can use a smallish paint brush and paint down all leaves, front and back. If you have awater bottle handy you can also spray you're plant down. Repeat in 5 days. It works really well the first time alone with adults & eggs. Besure to go over it again just incase you missed anything.

I use this method on all my orchids with no damage to the leaves.

Good luck

Neem oil is generally excellent as a repellent and it's excellent at killing eggs so it could well work on mites too. Let us know how you get on.

I think I would be spraying/treating all of your plants.

Went out to buy this, which the nursery says it's good, let's hope it works.
Anyway I used up 2 bottles spraying the whole of my humble collection.

I don't think you should use that, very very few insecticides are effective on mites. You need a product which is specifically a miticide/acaricide.

But I generally use rubbing alcohol on my plants in the rare occasions that I have a mite problem. I do things a bit differently than Lagoon though. I use 90% rubbing alcohol straight from the bottle by pouring some on a paper towel and wiping down all the leaves.

Neem oil should work as well.
