I will try that recipe and see what it'll do.
If they don't fly, it's most likely springtail. they can be white or black. fast moving small little bugs.
I had so many of them on old bark media on one of the phalaenopsis last year. They were found on the bottom of the pot, but lots and lots of them would climb on th edge of the pot when I watered the plant. Once I repotted the plant into fresh media, I saw much less of them although they persisted. I think some of them hitchhiked on the root or something.
They don't do harm, but they look gross!
Let's get rid of those little suckers!

The recipe is magic I use it on all my plants now I havent had any problems with bugs since and the infected plan has now put out a new spike i'd highly recommend it to anyone with bug problems, its really cheap too so an all around winner

Great to hear! Did you flush the pot with plain water after using it?

No I left it for a week then gave it a good rinse out and water then resumed my usual routine did the trick for me thankfully
