Looking for Cinnamon in the UK!?
Easy, go to the herb and spice section in any convenience store or super market. Just ask one of the Shop Assistants, it's part of their job description to help

Never ever have had a problem finding "ground cinnamon" personally. I was actually surprised to find out it was also used in plant care rather than just a nice spice.

I would worry about ground cinnamon around roots. That's easy to find here, but the cinnamon extract is not so easy

Yea its sooo unfair how hard it is to find certain orchid supplies here in the UK wish i lived in America they have everything. Going to use amazon i think much easier than traveling all over myself to find stuff.

Thankgod for the internet

I was wondering where to get that stuff from! GREAT! Also by "dish soap" are we talking washing up liquid??

Your bugs sound like springtails. They get in EVERYTHING. I have a real problem with them in my lizard vivarium and as a result they get into most of my plant pots no matter how much I clean out and disinfect. They only eat rotting wood, so they actually dont seem to do too much damage...
