Fine single strand webs - not a threat?

I have my orchids gathered on a humidity tray beneath track lights using 60diode bulbs from Orchid Web. They all seem to be doing fine, but I constantly find these delicate long strands of web from the track heads down to the orchid leaves. Every day I brush them away. The web strands also go from leaf to leaf. I see no bugs, no mites, but it's never ending. I bought Garden Safe 3, a insecticide and fungicide and used it last night. Maybe too soon to tell, but has anyone had this weird problem?
