Default Insecticides that flare mite infestations?

I have read repeated warnings that the use of the neonicotenoid insecticide imidacloprid will cause mite infestations to flare. Apparently this is not due to just the effect of killing mite predators but imidacloprid actually increases the fecundity of the mites.

I have not seen any information about if other neonicotenoid insecticides such as Safari (dinotefuran) have the same effect. Has anyone seen any information about this?

PS - I see that Safari 20 SG is now available in a 12 oz. bottle.

SAFARI 20SG New Smaller Size, Valent, Dinotefuran,12oz

This is not an unauthorized repack but actual manufacturer (Valent) packaging in a new smaller size.

I have purchased things a couple of times from this web store (actually their ebay store) and have been happy with the products and service.

Here is the announcement from Valent:
SafariŽ Insecticide Now Available in Convenient 12-Ounce Containers
