Uh oh? Whats this?
Hello everyone,
I received these plants last week but was unable to ask about this my computer went out.
The first pictures are of the same plant, the other is an isolated spot on one plant. What is this? One of the pictures almost looks like a little scale, but I checked and it's not. Any ideas? (these came like this-I hold no liability in this one)

Ami, I don't know what it is but I'd hit it with brown Listerine right away...a few sprays, a few times over the next few days.
Let's see what the others have to say

I'd dunk in a fungicide bath and increase air circulation.

Thanks for the quick replies! Should I make sure they are watered first before applying fungicide/listerine? Should I use cinnamon too?

If it doesn't spread, or get mushy, then it might just be old "war wounds". But as Susanne said, you should hit it with Listerene or copper fungicide, and keep a close eye on it. If it starts to spread, it's just a leaf, pull it off.

Just maintain your usual feeding schedule, plants have a memory, routine is good.

Saw this someplace:
You know you're an orchid addict when you have to run out to the greenhouse for your cinnamon, Listerine and alcohol
Side note:
I buy the store brand of original Listerine...no reason to spend good orchid money on the brand-name for the 'chids
Keep it in a small spray bottle and it's always handy.

If you received the plants by mail/courrier, the spots could be lesions due stress, or heat, or cold....Don't looks like a severe fungus attack (in my opinion), but only time will says...
I agree with Jansen, choose a nice place and takes good routine care, I think it's enough.
