1) my cattleya leaf seems to be turning brown. Actually 2 of them are but only one shown here. Why is this?
2) I'm MORE worried about my dendrobium which seems to have caught some kind of fungal infection.
I removed these leaves but I also removed 2 last week. The dendro has 2 canes (plus a new baby one), and in all I've removed 2 leaves from the 2 canes. The baby cane seems not to be affected so far.
Can anyone advise me on what I should do?

I'm not seeing any kinda fungus or bacterial in the photos'. Picture 1 -- looks like a simple leaf getting ready to drop off, the edge of the leaf looks burned from not enough water or to much fertilising at some point. It's normal for leaves to drop as the get older - but new growth should be seen soon.
Photo 2 looks to be baked, to much sun and burned.
hmmm, the baked theory makes sense. I just moved the dendro from a dark-ish area to a brighter one. It does now get some direct sunlight, though not much (or so I thought). I will relocate immediately and see if the problem continues.
the catt leaf I thought was just regular ageing, but there is another leaf that is doing the exact same. Would 2 leaves drop off at once?
I think it depends how quickly the burn happens. A bright light will turn them red over a few days, but a light bright enough to burn would probably just burn with no initial redness.
