Phalaenopsis: Stakes developed white fungus at compost level

Just a quick update. My fungus infection has now spread to the roots and has also possibly infected my miniature Phal. So, I am going to give them both a garlic bath and then repot them until I can get to the shops and get a proper anti-fungal. I did try to take some pictures but unfortunately I kept being told that upload failed.
