ok my friends den has these weird brown and white spots on some of the leaves dont know why or how. i have never seen any of mine do that. i was thinking maybe it was sun damage or some sort of pest, any suggestions would be awesome thanks!

could be burn ... has it been moved, or been in the sun during hotter than usual temps?

she said it was in the sun but i dont think she moved it and only those leaves none of the others did that!

could be burn - days are longer and hotter

I've had serious sun damage this year. And it never really looked like that. Could it have been up against something like metal that got hot from the sun?

To me it looks like something bit the leaves. I might be wrong, but it doesn't look like sunburn to me either.

It looks like something nibbling leaves to me also. Guess we need to know if it lives outside or in the house etc. a few more details of where it has been.

yeah it lives inside so i dont think anything would be nibbling, it but its weird! thanks everyone

It is sundurn. When water drops condense on the leaves they act as a magnifier and cause unusually shaped burn patterns
