Sick plant
Default Sick plant

Hello,
Recently one of my plants had a new bud which grew out to be a stem. After two weeks it stopped growing and sticky gellike droplets appeared all over it. After a while the droplets grew bigger and I saw a milky looking droplet on the stem this morning. The leaves of the plant looks weird as if rotten/burnt on different spots. Attached pls find the photos of my plant. Can you please advise on how to treat this illness. BTW this is the second time we have this problem. At the first event the stem got mushy and rotted. Hope it does get better this time. Thanks all...

well, sap on the spike isn't usually cause for concern -
don't know what is going on with the foliage - it could be burn -did the plant recently get more light than usual? or been in the sun during extreme heat?
