Aphids? Male
Default Aphids? Thrips?

These little buggers just decided to perk their heads up on some of my mounts . I think they're aphids, but as the is my first orchid pest, I'm trying to confirm before I carpet bomb them. Thoughts?

Also, these little guys range from large (like the one here) to miniscule. The big ones may be roughly 1/16" long, maybe. Basically these pricks are tiny!

The only reason I thought aphids, was that nothing else really fit the look. No other bug I could find had this appearance and aphids were winner by default. Hopefully someone will help identify. Either way I'll start with something general until I'm sure. Thanks Joann.

What about thrips? Thrips
I'm not very experienced with some of the orchid pests but this kind of looks like your picture.
