White Mold

For several years I have been plagued with a white mold that permeates the medium. Spraying with Consan 20 helps but does not eliminate the problem. I've started repotting my Cats using nothing but aliflor. Over the years I noticed that many orchids like to grow their roots on the clay pots and those orchids generally do well.

I would appreciate comments, pro or con regarding using aliflor as the medium. So far it seems to be OK, but it's too early to tell if this is a long term solution
