At least I assume that is what has got to them. 4 large chunks taken out of 2 Cattleyas. If you've had a problem in the past what did you do? I already had traps down, but clearly that didn't do enough to help my orchids.
All suggestions welcome.
Thanks!
Kay

I do hope not! I would have thought that rabbits would take bigger chunks out of the leaves, there seem to be definite nibble marks. I found another chunk taken out of one of them this morning on my inspection.
I've moved them around to try and put them somewhere safer, but I would rather deal with the whole problem, and also the spot they were in was a prime growing spot...
Gah! I can sort of handle losing plants to my bad culture (ie fungal infections caused by lack of air movement, cold damage etc) but I really hate losing them to something else's lunch.

The reason I mentioned rabbits is that I had issues with some last spring, that seemed to develop a taste for imported greens.

If they're just sitting at ground level, you could try raising them with a bench, or something similar

Another couple of chunks taken out of other plants today.
This is war!
Please, any ideas as to how to get rid of these mice...

Kay (and if they could speak, my orchids would also be pleading for help at this point!)
