Default Insecticides and crown rot

I realized this morn. that I have a problem with spidermites on a few of my phals. My question is: When I spray them with an insecticide, could the droplets that often form on the leaves from the spray then run down into the crown be a potential crown rot problem? Only 1 phal is mounted, the rest are potted.

I would appreciate your advice,
Vicki
