Just for info; mine originally came potted in bark and it's had its ups & downs although not tragic (I've had brown leaf tips- Which I learned was from too much fertilizer; also rotten roots.. All this to say that mine now adores being planted in coconut
choir (about 8 months)... May be an idea for you??

Good news, I think that the remaining bulb is going to stay rot free (*knocking on wood*). I even think that the dormant eye on it may be starting to wake up.

Nenella-I actully repotted it in a mix of bark and chopped CHC (a mix I found in the garden center last week)

Great news, the Zygo has a new growth! Looks like this plant is going to pull through if the growth develops well.
