I just got Earth options by raid. It says rose and flower insect spray. Looks like the main ingredients are canola oil and pyrethrins. I am wondering if anyone has ever used this stuff. I am hoping it will help prevent infestation when I put them out in the summer. Seems just too good to be true.

Yup, you definitely never want to put any type of oil on orchid leaves that will be touched by sunlight.
It will literally cook them. I've seen an entire gorgeous plant lose all it's leaves in just one day because the guy left a layer of oil on the leaves and put it in the sun. Big mistake but he learned from it
I would get some of the Bayer systemic in the blue bottle says it works for 30 days . Spray them outside the systemic spray enters the plants system should kill mealys when they try to feed . But be sure to check them often ..
