Ahh! Discolored sunken spots on leaves? Female
Default Ahh! Discolored sunken spots on leaves?

I just bought both of these orchids within the last month. The biggest one (first photo, bottom of two leaves) seems like a healthy beautiful plant, and honestly I can't remember if these spots were there when I purchased or not. The second plant was a rescue from the local hardware store, it was severely dehydrated but in just a week has really started to perk up. I am 95% sure the spot on the leaf (2nd pic, top of leaf) is new, but since it was in such bad shape and the leaves are just starting to plump back up, I am not so sure.

Is some sort of leaf disease? What should I do to treat?

I just noticed the other day a strange dark hollow spot on the big plant's leaf stalk, 3rd pic. Is this something to worry about as well?

Hi ,the top photo looks like damage before u got it sometimes it takes awhile for it to show up . the second picture looks as far as I can tell might be cold or sun damage if the spots are not spreading getting bigger or soft like a rot you can apply cinnamon to the areas . You probably know this Phals. will lose the older bottom leaves and grow new from the crown (top ) that might be what is going on with the 3rd picture ..When plants are shipped around especially into the large stores they suffer dings and dents ..
