Cymbidium Rot?
Default Cymbidium Rot?

Firs I am VERY NEW to Orchids. Received this on 1/14, potted in commercial Cymb mix and set in bright light spot (not Sun) for two weeks. Went to move it to a sunny location today and noticed the base of one growing bulb and one back bulb brownish. Is this rot and what do I do. The bulbs are also very shriveled. Does that indicate lack of water or root damage? Pics attached.

Hi , Sorry to say it does look like rot , are the bulbs soft feeling ? It very well might be a root problem causing it . If mine I would up-pot it and remove the affected bulbs and any soft squishy roots using a new disposable cutting tool main thing is to not use the blade on another plant . Then seal the cuts with cinnamon to help dry the cuts .. Hope this helps ..
