Default rot following probable cold damage.

So, I went on holiday after Christmas for 2 weeks, and something clearly went very wrong with my heating system. My warm-growers are almost all (exceptions being 2 hardy NOID phals) showing signs of cold damage to varying degrees. Worst affected are Ludisia discolor (rot set in stem, cut and removed infected area) and Bulbophyllum Jersey (have lost 18 months growth on a young plant). Other than keeping warm, is there anything the collective wisdom of the orchidboard can suggest to help recovery? I also have a paph and 3 further phals showing stressed signs (blackened buds) but am not so concerned about them as for the Ludisia and Bulbo.
Thanks.
Kay
