I see it, but didn't think it really meant anything. Is it a problem?

Well you certainly leave me speechless (writeless?).

I guess it's only a problem if you like your flowers presented right side up. I just don't know what to say. Isn't it a problem in your opinion? It's definitely a problem for an orchid judge, but I guess if you like upside down stuff it's no problem at all.

???? Lord where have I gone wrong?

What I kind of meant was, do you think it's a problem in relation to Izzie's worry about a virus, as that's what I thought you were refering to.

However I have no problem with 'upside down' flowers anyway. Some orchid species do have flowers which are reversed compared to the norm (I don't know about Cyms, but Den unicum is an example in another genus).

Maybe this is something in the parantage of Izzie's plant, or maybe it relates to light direction as they were forming Still pretty in my eyes

Buds often get shifted in shipment, plants are exposed to high light at weird angles, etc. It's not too unusual to find plants from big box/grocery stores that have flowers/buds opening in strange directions; if the plant threw nonresupinate flowers on every spike, I would think something might be amiss, but I suspect this is just a case of buds being jarred in the shipping process.

No sign of virus in that plant from what I see in the pics.
