My husband and I have some property where we live, so we keep all the orchids outside. We cleared out an area to put some of them because we ran out of room behind the house. This area was overgrown with Brazilian pepper trees. Most of the catteleas are fine, some are unhappy, but unfortuanantly the majority of the orchids over there have black spots on their leaves. All in all they dont do as well as the ones on the back of the house. I know trees have funguses. Kind of silly question, but was it a mistake moving these over under this nasty tree that drips sap?
