If you have got a scale problem ongoing for two years,Then either this is not effective on the scale or you are not treating the source ....which may be something other than your orchids. Since you place them outside in summer. Perhaps you need to treat the plants outside for scale as well? The surrounding shrubbery and trees could be your source of scale....use the bayer tree and shrub systemic on the general area you place them in in summer ....We tend to forget that it is not just chids they affect, but anything else in the area as well ....I know I sprayed the shrubbery at moms church because it had a major infestation of brown scale on it and I did not want one hitcing a ride home with her somehow....LOL yeah paranoia is my friend
