Default Leaf rot?

I have a phal that was outside for part of the summer and now after more than a month inside has developed what looks like rot on one leaf. What is it?

Can you get a closer shot of the damaged area?

I know we're still waiting on a close-up, but it looks like snail or slug damage. Can't make anything of the blackened area from these photos.

Hello again- something interesting happened when I took the super macro photo-I noticed that the leaf underneath it, and touching where the rot started, has these trail-like markings on it.
I'm beginning to think I should toss the plant?

I don't think you need to throw it out.

I think you need to find the slugs or snails that ate it.

I agree. There's a few posts about treating snails with coffee or collecting them on sliced potatoes. I haven't tried either method yet.

I hadn't thought about slugs, but it was outside. How do you treat with coffee?

by putting out coffee grounds, they are toxic to slugs....or by using slices of potato, they come to feed on it and you GET EM....slugs are wily beasts, and they hide really well....i think i would just unpot and discard all the media rinse the plant off well and repot in a clean pot....
