oncidium with spots on its leaves and pseudobulbs

i just bought an oncidium the other day and it has black dots all over its pseudobulbs and some on its leaves, the ones on the leaves form a semi-thick line. and i dont know how to post pictures on here either :/

What type of care have you been giving this orchid, how long has it been like this, without pictures its hard to tell, is it something that will wipe off, or is it on both sides of the leaves.? Sound like a mold of some sort, have you repotted? What type of media is it in, ? what is your weather? have you tried spraying with cinnamon water? Could you give us more information?

so far i have been keeping it out of direct sunlight, but still in light, the average humidity is 50%, the orchard has had these marking ever since i got it. the marks are on both sides of the leaves but only on the more darker spots the media it is in is a bark compost. my season is fall. and no i have not tries misting it with cinnamon water please explain, but i have cut off some of the more worse leaves with a sterile knife and then brushed the cut with cinnamon. and may i ask how do u post pictures?

Black spots on leaves don't necessarily mean It's 'bad' ... It is often due to a lot of full direct sunlight..

How do you make cinnamon water spray?

i found this online im not sure if it correct though:

Spray – combine 2 tablespoons of cinnamon powder into a pint of isopropyl

alcohol, shake well and let stand overnight. Filter solution through a coffee filter

and use the brown liquid as an all purpose fungicide spray. It is even good for

damping off of deflasked seedlings. For a combination fungicide/insecticide – put

1 cup of the cinnamon/alcohol extract into a pint bottle, add 2 tablespoons of

dishwashing detergent and top off with water. Use as a spray.

I wouldn't let that concoction touch the roots. That can do more damage than good if applied incorrectly.
