Bayer vs Cleary's 3336
What's your opinion of the 2 afore mentioned products? Could the Bayer Fungicide possibly work as well as Cleary's. I think there is much less of the main ingredient in Bayer's, but....
Thanks!!

Are the fungicides in the two product the same chemical?
If so, then you will need to apply the same amount of that chemical to get the same results.
If not, you're asking folks to compare apples to oranges.

Actually, what I'm asking is for folks that have used both products to give their opinion of how well each worked.
Fungicides, insecticides and the like are hard to find in my area. I have to order most everything. But I can get the Bayer Fungicide at Wally World and it's a lot less expensive. So naturally if it works well I would like to use it first.
Anybody have any experience they would share with either of the two fungicides or any other product they've used?
I appreciate your answer Ray. Maybe I've made my question clearer...I hope.

Indeed you have!
I'm sure the Bayer stuff would be effective - I honestly know noting about the product - but there might be issues with the formulation. For example, some such concoctions contain petroleum distillates as the solvents, and some plant don't take too kindly to them. The Cleary's product is a wettable powder, so water is the only solvent.
Another issue I have is if the Bayer product is a multi-faceted pesticide (fungicide, miticide, insecticide is a common combination). If you only need a fungicide, why treat with an insecticide and miticide too? It is more pollution of the environment and can lead to resistant strains of critters.
However, it may be that you don't really need a fungicide at all, or can use a home remedy instead. What, exactly, are you battling?

Bayer 3-in-One.....has
Imidacloprid .47%
Tau-Fluvalinate .61%
Tebuconazole .65%
Says nothinag about any petrolium distalates at all just inert ingredients 98.27%
Cleary's 336 Thiophanate methyl at different % depending on which one you bought f,g liquid ect here is the link to the labels
Cleary Chemical Corporation
as for results I like bayer 3-in-one so far but as a one season first time user I am happy but not sure yet how well it would compare ..I did have a few issues with some black spots on leaves jaut as they finished emerging and the covering sheath was still holding a little water to long even during the hot dry summer ....outside under a tree though and spraying often so again first season catt grower outside ....
I say it did pretty good overall and had absolutly no bugs at all any kind no root rotts and just a couple lost leaves even with my inexperiance the first year with catts outdoors

that's the tree and shrub one isn't it, with no fertilizer?
I've been trying to find it, but don't know what concentration to use.
